About Shari Brenner, MPH
As a seasoned Public Health professional with experience in a variety of settings, my eye is on the prize of improved individual and community health outcomes. I enjoy setting up systems that simplify and clarify processes so that direct care staff can do their very best work.
I use data for decision making, quality improvement, program planning and evaluation. I love showing others how common sense, good questions, and accurate data leads us in the right direction.
I thrive on coaching and empowering others, particularly those from systematically disenfranchised communities, to reach goals they previously thought unimaginable.
I believe labor and management share goals of creating solid services that serve our communities in a healthy work environment. Developing trust, finding common ground, and negotiating a win/win/win are crucial.
Community engagement has been the cornerstone of many successes. It takes time and is always well worth the investment.
My experience comes from my opportunities to learn while working in leadership at Federally Qualified Health Centers, Hospital Based Health Systems, State and County governments, and Community Based Organizations.
